Elias kahn
Elias is a stage-, set- and costume designer born in the picturesque Dalecarlia, Sweden.
He began his career at a young age at Nordic School of Design and The Cutters Academy, both fashion design schools in Sweden and after that he developed his own label, EliasDesign. To further his career he became a contestant on the television series, Fashion House, where he finished in a top position.
Design has always been a huge part of Elias’s life. Parallel to his work in fashion he also studied interior design at the Art College in Gothenburg and architecture at both London Metropolitan University and the University of Lund.
For the past three years Elias has been the assistant stage- and costume designer for numerous productions and he has also worked as an interior designer. Recently, Elias has taken the lead and been the primary set- and costume designer for short films like; “Restrikorama” by Thor Brenne, “Nittonhundraåttioett” by David Ullgren and Elias latest work “Alliansen” by Jonathan Etzler. Elias is a multifaceted artist and his work has also been featured in the Swedish beverage company Loka’s latest national advertisement campaign where they introduced their two latest flavors of sparkling spring water.
Last summer Elias was the set- and costume designer for “Malmens väg”, a co-production between Tornedalsteatern and Norrbottensteatern, directed by Håkan Starkenberg.
